Abstract
When military engineers are tasked to deploy, they quickly begin searching for information regarding their future roles and responsibilities. Many times, deploying members are largely left to their own resolve to quickly establish a dialogue with deployed engineers to learn their new mission and identify the critical skills and tools needed to accomplish mission objectives.
Early last year, the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA) conducted webinars featuring deployed-in-place engineers sharing their deployment experiences and observations with engineers at home station.
