High Energy Laser Propagation: Modeling Scintillation Effects

Document Type

Conference Proceeding

Publication Date

6-24-2019

Abstract

The environmental effects of high energy laser propagation are numerically simulated in a wave optics model coupled with direct simulation of the background fluid flow. The roles of fluid boundary conditions and scintillation are discussed.
